Presents due week of May 22nd:
 
Clinton and South Mountain - grade 4   Language Arts
 
Create a political or editorial cartoon that is not about pollution. Students in Mr. Jones and Mrs. Hornstein's classes create a different cartoon with a new theme.
 
Clinton and South Mountain - Grade 4   Mathematics
 
Type up the two puzzles that you are putting in the logic booklet. Find pictures for your puzzles. Bring them to class. Make a list of ten companies you might want to use in the stock market contest.
 
Grade 5  Language Arts
 
Finish writing in all of the dates for your timeline.
Compare and Contrast Mayan and Egyptian pyramids. You should try to get at least twenty-four using both sides of the paper. Congratulations to those who get all thirty-two (sixteen on each side).
 
Clinton and South Mountain - grade 5  Mathematics
 
Finish Mayan, Babylonian, and ancient Hebrew numerals. You should have also finished your Roman numerals from one to fifty.

Private Enrichment Lessons for 3rd - 6th graders
 
Fall or Winter with John Leuchs   973-675-0549
 
Mythology, Logic, Topology, Colorful Language, Bases, Sci Fi, 3D Geometry, Atoms, and Configurational Poetry are some of the choices.
Law and Debating are also available for groups of four students.
$60 per hour for individual instruction, $35 each in groups of 2,
$25 each in groups of 3, and $20 each in a group of four.

Students must remember to bring with them to class -
a pencil, their enrichment folder, and any presents
that are due.
 
No work should be completed in permanent ink.
All errors should be erased.
